Le Corbusier: “the most beautiful spectacle of the modern era”
This unique factory built in 1931, is the monument of Dutch modernism. Renown around the globe for its progressive design, that gives new meaning to air, light and space in architecture. In 2014, UNESCO completed the international recognition of this grandiose building by awarding it the World Heritage status.
UrbanGuides is proud to provide the tours for this ‘glass palace’ in collaboration with the Chabot Museum. With an experienced Van Nelle guide, you’ll walk through and around the factory, which’ll give you understanding as to why this groundbreaking design has such international significance.

It is possible to park at grounds of the Van Nelle Factory. (2 hours €3,- / half a day €5,- / full day €10,-). It is also possible to park for free at the nearby Sparta stadium (on a 2 to 5 minutes walking distance).
